Last week the children at the Nursery and Pre-School learnt about the types of animals and plants found in a Woodland.
Making bird Feeders at the Nursery and Pre-School
The children in the Newts Nursery Room at the Nursery and Pre-School here in Newbury made Bird Fat Feeders to ensure our favourite birds survive the winter.
In other rooms around the Nursery and Pre-School the children discussed the noises different animals make and the children and Nursery staff had great fun doing lots of noisy practice!
The children in some of the rooms around the Nursery and Pre-School made animal masks and created their very own den, with the children getting lots more practice making animal noises! This helped reinforce the children’s learning of what animals can be found in the woodlands.
Some of the rooms actually went to the woodlands to see if they could see some of the animals that they have been learning about here at Quackers Day Nursery and Pre-School and used the binoculars that the children made to help them.
